Central and Western Iowa Brushy Creek Honor Flight - Charter Oak
United Bank of Iowa recently donated $2,060 to the Central and Western Iowa Brushy Creek Honor Flight. Brushy Creek Honor Flight, based in Fort Dodge, is a non-profit organization created to honor American Veterans for their sacrifices. Veterans from central and western Iowa are flown to Washington DC to visit and reflect at their memorials. Numerous veterans from Crawford County have participated in Honor Flights over the last several years. There is never a cost to the Veteran. The money for this donation was raised during United Bank of Iowa's UNITED TOGETHER Makes the Difference Cause Day effort.
United Bank of Iowa employees presenting the donation are Jay Lally, Beth Maack and Rebecca Berens. The check was presented at the Charter Oak UBI location to Veterans from the area who have participated in an Honor Flight.
