United Bank of Iowa Donates to Mapleton Food Pantry
United Bank of Iowa recently donated $2,000 to the Mapleton Food Pantry. The money for this donation was raised during United Bank of Iowa's UNITED TOGETHER Makes the Difference Cause Day effort. The Mapleton Food Pantry serves the communities of Anthon, Castana, Danbury, Mapleton, Moorhead, Oto, Rodney, Smithland, Soldier, Ute and their surrounding areas. The funds from this donation will help buy groceries for people in need in those areas.
United Bank of Iowa employees on hand for the check presentation were Sarah Beery, Matt Fitzpatrick, Camille Coud and Allison Randall. Connie Swearingen, representing Mapleton Food Pantry, accepted the donation.
