UBI Makes Donation to Moorhead Fire Department

United Bank of Iowa Donates $5,000 to Moorhead Fire & Rescue Department

United Bank of Iowa recently donated $5,000 to the Moorhead Fire & Rescue Department. These funds will assist the department in the purchase of a John Deere Gator. The Gator is a much-needed addition to the department. There are plans to add a water tank to the bank of the vehicle, which will help in extinguishing fires in remote locations. The department will also be adding a rescue basket to the front of the Gator. This will be utilized for rescue calls of injured hikers, campers, or horse riders in Preparation Canyon, which is located outside of Moorhead.
