United Bank of Iowa recently donated $2,143 to the Backpack Buddies program at United Community Schools in Boone. This program provides weekend meals and snacks for food insecure students in Pre-K through sixth grade. Backpack Buddies also provides personal care items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, bar soap, shampoo, and more to children in need. The money for this donation was raised during United Bank of Iowa's UNITED TOGETHER Makes the Difference Cause Day effort.
