United Bank of Iowa recently donated $2,185 to the Bill Evans Foundation for Kids in Carroll. The foundation was established to honor Bill Evan’s efforts to help students build self-esteem. Bill was a long time teacher and coach in the Carroll Community Schools. The foundation will use these funds to help students with shoes, doctor and dentist visits, eye exams, clothes, school fees and supplies, haircuts, toiletries, and other things or events which will help the self-esteem of the child. The money for this donation was raised during United Bank of Iowa’s UNITED TOGETHER Makes the Difference Cause Day effort.
