Family Resource Center - Carroll
United Bank of Iowa recently donated $2,020 to the Family Resource Center in Carroll. Their mission is to strengthen families and the community by keeping children and dependent adults safe and nurtured, thereby preventing abuse and neglect. Their services include assisted living for disabled adults, crisis care for families during hard times, a parent time-out program, group homes for the elderly and people with behavioral or mental conditions/disabilities, and a childcare project to improve the quality of early learning environments and promoting school readiness in Audubon, Carroll, Greene, and Guthrie Counties. This money was raised during United Bank of Iowa's UNITED TOGETHER Makes the Difference Cause Day effort.
