United Bank of Iowa recently donated $2,036 to the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC). LULAC is an organization that focuses on educating, empowering, and advancing minority populations. The funds donated to LULAC will be designated to provide assistance with rent, legal fees, food, and other necessities for people experiencing financial hardship. This money was raised during United Bank of Iowa's UNITED TOGETHER Makes the Difference Cause Day effort.
On hand for the check presentation was (L-R): Kaylie Koch, UBI; Pam Soseman, Denison Mayor; Ken Blair, UBI; Alma Duga, Mario Flores and Virginia Navarro, all representing LULAC. Virginia is also an employee of United Bank of Iowa.
