United Bank of Iowa Donates to Swingin' Fore Soldiers
United Bank of Iowa recently donated $2,000 to Swingin' Fore Soldiers. Based in Gowrie, the mission of Swingin' for Soldiers is to support our military, veterans and their families by honoring the promise, dedication and sacrifices made to protect our freedoms and future. Money raised by this organization is used for car loans, rent and mortgage assistance, utilities, gas, groceries, medical bills, equipment, care packages sent overseas, home improvements, emergency funding, funeral expenses, back to school supplies, etc. The funds for this donation were raised during United Bank of Iowa's UNITED TOGETHER Makes the Difference Cause Day effort.
Katelyn Johnson, representing Swingin' Fore Soldiers, accepted the donation from Amanda Lindstrom, UBI Lohrville.
