That’s what the Dorale family shared with us when we asked how they feel about their experience as a customer of United Bank of Iowa. As Ralph Dorale was thinking back over the years, he commented, “Becky and I have been working with United Bank of Iowa for 18 years and they have always helped us adjust along the way through the good times and the bad." Ralph continued, “Communication has always been good with Jay (Jay Lally, their UBI lender); we talk things over, and it’s always a positive experience. He’s good to work with and things go very smooth”.

Adam and Alex Dorale added, “When we first started farming, we worked with Todd Schultz (currently UBI Sr. VP, Chief Loan Officer) and he always made sure we understood everything we were discussing. As someone just getting started, we really appreciated Todd taking the time to help us learn and understand the operation.”
