UBI Donates to Ida Grove City Park Renovations

United Bank of Iowa made a substantial commitment to the Ida Grove City Park renovations with a pledge of $75,000. On hand to present the first $25,000 were Dan Dotzler, Jean Burns and Derek Conover from United Bank of Iowa. Tony Bennett accepted the donation on behalf of the Ida Grove Kiwanis Charitable Foundation, as co-sponsor of Phase One.

The Ida Grove Economic Development Corporation has developed a master plan for significant renovations of City Park to be completed in phases over a period of years. Major planned improvements include a splash pad, additional playground equipment, modern shelter house with restrooms, shaded picnic spots, improved parking, and an outdoor amphitheater.
